Avery McNamara is the founder and heart behind Apple of My Isla. Originally from Lakeway, Texas, Avery attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she cultivated her love for design and creativity. Before starting her company, she worked as a medical speech pathologist and feeding specialist, an experience that taught her patience, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of childhood needs—skills she now brings to her role as a business owner and creative visionary.

Avery’s inspiration for Apple of My Isla began with her own children. What began as a simple idea soon grew into a thoughtfully designed line of wipeable, classic accessories in custom patterns—pieces that make everyday life easier, brighter, and more joyful for parents on the go. Each product is created with purpose and care, featuring a unique coated fabric that offers a healthier, eco-friendly alternative to traditional PVC.

When she’s not designing for Apple of My Isla, Avery enjoys life in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband Patrick and their three children—Patch, Isla, and Fuller – with baby number four on the way! Whether she’s chasing little ones, dreaming up new patterns, or finding beauty in the everyday chaos of motherhood, Avery approaches it all with heart, color, and creativity. Through Apple of My Isla, she continues to celebrate family, faith, and fun—one adventure at a time.

Morgan McCall brings a background in architecture and a love for thoughtful design to her work with Apple of My Isla. Her creative process begins with hand-painted watercolors, which are then translated into digital illustrations to create each pattern. Working closely with Avery, Morgan helps bring Apple of My Isla’s creative vision to life through carefully crafted artwork.
